2.1. Getting started

2.1.1. Overview

The easiest way to get started using AOcell vSync for the first time is to read through some of our tutorials. If you have a good grasp of version control systems and how they work, you can probably give a quick read through Section 2.4.1, “The menu "Timebag"” to get started.

If you want a more detailed look at creating a new timebag, read through Section 3.1, “Creating a new mobile timebag step-by-step” tutorial.

Once you have your first timebag, read through Section 3.3, “Synchronizing documents with a timebag step-by-step”. It will give you a good introduction to AOcell vSync's synchronization and how to use it effectively.

After you finish learning your way around AOcell vSync's synchronization, read through Section 3.4, “Diffing a document step-by-step” about visual comparison support and its use within AOcell vSync.

When you think you understand the use of synchronization and comparison, you might find yourself asking, "How do I go back to the past?" Read through Section 3.5, “Taking me back to one week ago step-by-step” and you will find your way.
