4. Registering AOcell vSync

4.1.  How to register AOcell vSync, if I have Internet on the PC?

    In AOcell vSync, click the menu item "Register now..." in the menu item "Help", then the following wizard will appear.

4.2.  How to register AOcell vSync, if I have NO Internet on the PC?

    Click the button "Save as" (the 2nd control), and save the registration validation request in the 1st control to a USB Flash Drive as the file named "AOcell-vSync-Registration-Validation-Request.txt" then click the button "Finish" to quit this wizard.

  6. Step 6

    Take the USB Flash Drive containing the registration validation request to another PC which is connected to the Internet.

  7. Step 7

    Open your favorite web browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera, type "www.aocell.com" into the address box, and press ENTER to visit AOcell Software Website.

    Click the button "Register".

    Click the button "Browse", select the file "AOcell-vSync-Registration-Validation-Request.txt" in the USB Flash Drive, and click the button "Validate".

    If successful, an e-mail containing the registration validation response is sent to your contact e-mail.

    The body of the e-mail is something like this:

4.3. I have purchased the software but have not received my registration information e-mail.

After purchase, a registration information e-mail is sent to your contact e-mail address. Be sure to check any junk mail or spam mail folders of your mailbox in case that the e-mail has been caught by spam filters by mistake.

If this doesn't resolve the problem, please use the feature "Look up registration information" at AOcell Customer Service to re-send the registration information e-mail. For more information, please refer to Section 4.6, “I have lost my registration information.”.

If it is consistent, please use AOcell Registration Question Form or send an e-mail to for manual service.

4.4. How to Copy and Paste the Registration Validation Response?

Please follow the following steps to Copy and Paste the Registration Validation Response into the wizard to register the software.

  1. Step 1

    Use your mouse to select the Registration Validation Response delivered to you by mail.

4.5.  Can I install AOcell vSync on multiple PCs I own with one Registration Number?

No and yes.

Just buy one copy and you can synchronize, revert and track documents on all your computers.

If you have purchased only one copy of AOcell vSync, it can only be installed on one computer. If you have several different computers on which you would like to install AOcell vSync, you must purchase additional licenses. Please visit our online order page at: Purchase AOcell vSync

Actually, you can purchase only one copy of AOcell vSync and install trial version of AOcell vSync on other computers you own. Once an unverified timebag is synchronized by the registered AOcell vSync copy, it will become a verified timebag without time limitation which can be used on other computers you own without a hitch. Please refer to Section 4.10, “ What's the difference between a verified timebag and an unverified one? ” for more information.

4.6. I have lost my registration information.

    On a computer connected to Internet, launch your favorite web browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera to open AOcell Customer Service. In the feature "Look up registration information", type in your contact e-mail address, and click the button "Search".

    If successful, an e-mail containing the registration information is sent to your contact e-mail.

4.7. How do I find my Registration Information?

    In AOcell vSync, click the menu item "About AOcell vSync" in the menu item "Help", and the about dialog appears.

    In this sample, you will find your Registration Number is 1FD1-0902-6F9F-E9CC.

4.8.  What is a Registration Number?

A Registration Number is an alpha-numeric key which is delivered to you when you purchase AOcell vSync. This key is unique and help us identify you as the holder of the software.

4.9. How do I register again, if I have formatted my hard drive?

  1. Once you have your computer working after reformatting, download the latest release at: Download AOcell vSync
  2. Install the software.
  3. Register the software following Section 4.1, “ How to register AOcell vSync, if I have Internet on the PC? ” or Section 4.2, “ How to register AOcell vSync, if I have NO Internet on the PC? ”.

4.10.  What's the difference between a verified timebag and an unverified one?

An unverified Timebag will expire in 30 days from it's birth on. Once it is synchronized by a registered AOcell vSync copy, it will become a verified timebag without time limitation.

Please be warned that think it over before synchronizing your private unverified timebag with a public or a friend's computer which has a registered AOcell vSync copy in order to make this timebag be verified. Your private data may be let out to others. It's your responsibility to protect your privacy in this way.
